Our firm is growing rapidly and we are currently seeking experienced a Project Architect candidate to work on multiple of various scales. Someone who is self-driven looking to learn and capable to collaborate and able to manage a small team. Experienced candidates should have design and construction experience with a diverse range of projects including NJ school districts, housing authorities and municipalities. Familiarity with corporate interiors, justice complexes midsize single and multi-family residential a plus.

Project Architect Candidate Experience and Skill Requirements:

Minimum 5 plus years of work experience in all project phases from conceptual design through construction administration.

Experience in construction document preparation and detailing for both renovations of older buildings and new construction.

Ability to manage drawing production with drafting team.

Must have valid driver's license, vehicle and insurance to travel to various job sites within a 15-mile radius of office.

Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with, coworkers, clients, contractors, and consultants.

Ability to attend and run construction and client project meetings.

Strong writing and communication skills.

Understanding of MEP/FP systems and their integration.

Latest version of AutoCAD drafting skills.

Knowledge of REVIT a plus.

Knowledge of Sketchup.

Preparation of design and graphic presentations.

Knowledge of NJUCC building codes.

Ability to work self-sufficiently with flexibility to perform a variety of tasks.

Minimum Bachelors of Architecture degree preferred.

Registered Architect license preferred.

Eligible to work in the United States.
