Experience and skill level to be an intermediate level Architect (5-8 years' experience) to participate in all phases of design through construction on several residential projects and has experience with permitting/entitlements/HOA approvals. Ideally also has experience in the City of Los Angeles.
Responsibilities:
Design, coordination, project management, and client meetings
Obtain agency approvals
Permitting, answering RFIs, site visits, full-scale mockups, etc.
Working closely and clearly communicating with the team. BA team members have a great deal of autonomy in their work but will need to stay closely connected to the team.
Contributing to a creative and friendly office environment.
Minimum Qualifications Needed:
A professional degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
Self-starter and capable of multi-tasking
A penchant for follow-through
Strong organizational skills with excellent time management abilities
Ability to work with a variety of personalities
Strong rendering and presentation skills
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit is a must
Experience coordinating engineering disciplines and consultants
Ability to generate technical details of conventional and unconventional assemblies
Experience communicating with contractors
Experience leading the Contract Administration phase
We offer commensurate pay based on experience and exceptional benefits. We can offer the position on consultant basis or on a full time basis. In either case, we are looking for a longer term commitment.
