Our client, the Global Leader in Technology is seeking an experienced and driven **Senior Construction Manager** with a strong background in mechanical engineering to lead and oversee complex projects across engineering, research and development, and product deployment. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strategic planning capabilities, and proven leadership to manage cross-functional teams and ensure the successful execution of high-impact initiatives.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Plan, direct, and coordinate engineering and technical activities across multiple project phases.
+ Design, develop, manufacture, and test mechanical systems including tools, engines, and machines.
+ Investigate equipment failures, diagnose root causes, and coordinate with maintenance teams on solutions.
+ Analyze customer design proposals and specifications to determine feasibility in terms of time and cost.
+ Assist in the structural design process, working closely with drafters and engineers using CAD and other tools.
+ Develop and present project proposals, technical reports, and findings to stakeholders and clients.
+ Oversee staffing needs, recruit and assign team members, and manage performance and professional development.
+ Review and approve project contracts, budgets, and timelines.
+ Collaborate with management, production, and marketing teams to align technical requirements with business goals.
+ Analyze resource needs, emerging technologies, and market trends to assess project feasibility.
**Required Skills & Competencies:**
+ Strong leadership, organizational, and team management abilities.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills.
+ Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering schematics, and technical drawings.
+ Skilled in computer-aided design (CAD) and related engineering tools.
+ Solid understanding of quality control, cost analysis, and production optimization techniques.
+ Knowledge of business and project management principles, including budgeting and resource allocation.
+ Proficiency in software such as MS Project, Visio, PowerPoint, and Excel.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
+ 10+ years of progressive experience in engineering and construction management.
+ PMI or PMP certification preferred.
+ Experience leading large-scale construction and mechanical engineering projects is highly desirable.
