Construction Manager 5

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Construction Manager in Boydton, VA. This role involves coordinating and overseeing construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and in accordance with quality standards.

• Applicants must be able to work directly for our company on a W2 basis.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering
• 10 years of experience in construction management or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Need a mechanical engineer/CM5 has the ability to make engineering drawings, and read and interpret blueprints
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and strategic planning.
• Proficiency in computer software such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and Visio.

• PMI or PMP certification.
• Experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD) software.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam software.

• Coordinate projects and make detailed plans to accomplish goals.
• Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.
• Recruit, assign, direct, and evaluate employees' work to ensure competence.
• Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand to assess project feasibility.
• Confer with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
• Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.
