Construction Manager

Join one of the world's most recognizable companies as a Construction Manager in the Boydton area. This role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction project. Ideal candidates will have experience overseeing projects that are related to setting up manufacturing plants. This is a long term contractor role with the opportunity for growth and career stability. A considerable monthly per diem is also offered.

responsibilities:

• Coordinate projects, make detailed plans to accomplish project goals and directing the integration of technical activities
  
  
• Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients
  
  
• Recruit employees, assign, direct and evaluate their work
  
  
• Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects
  
  
• Confer with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures
  
  
• Review and recommend or approve contract and cost estimates

Qualifications

• PMI or PMP certification
  
  
• 10+ years of construction project management
  
  
• Mechanical or manufacturing background
