We are looking for a driven and curious Senior Program Scheduler to join our Program Management Team. As a key member of our Project Management Oversight Team, you'll provide day-to-day support and execution of schedule functions for projects and programs. You will be responsible for creating, monitoring, analyzing, forecasting, and reporting on schedules. You'll manage overall program scheduling and reporting functions by supporting client management, updates, and presentations to all levels of management. You will also develop, interpret, and execute policy objectives and standards applicable to schedule controls, coupled with analysis activities and reporting. This is a full-time position located in Long Island City, Queens, requiring a 5-day per week on-site presence at the client site.

Onsite employees are expected to attend a Jacobs Workplace on a full-time basis, as required by the nature of their role.
Here's what you'll need
- BA or BS or equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
- At least 10 years of Planning/Scheduling experience; 15+ years of related program and project management experience on large programs is highly preferred.
- A thorough understanding of building construction, timelines, and practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project, including live schedule updates and Interactive Planning (IAP) sessions.
- Proficient in Primavera (P6), with strong critical path analysis skills and experience conducting monthly schedule reviews
- Broad knowledge of project management software, dashboard platforms, and spreadsheet applications (i.e.: Trimble Unity (e-Builder), Power BI, Excel, etc.).
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel: Table (Vlookup, Index, Filtering, Data manipulation & summarization) and Excel Functions.
Ideally,you'llalsohave:
- Experience with building component replacement (i.e.: elevator, boiler etc.), and residential buildings within the public sector.
- Ability to develop "what-if" schedule analysis both graphically, in writing, and verbally.
- Excellent communication skills and understanding of technical terminology.
- A good business acumen and a desire to get involved in other aspects of our business (project oversight, business development etc.).
- Claims analysis, contract time extension, and re-baseline experience

The base salary range for this position is $165,000.00 to $190,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
