The ideal candidate will ensure smooth equipment functionality, troubleshoot minor issues, and support continuous production processes. Key Responsibilities : Operate machinery and equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines Monitor equipment performance, record production data, and identify irregularities or malfunctions Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery to minimize downtime Conduct quality checks and ensure products meet specifications Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve technical issues Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S or other housekeeping standards Assist with equipment setups, changeovers, and calibrations as needed Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies Accurately complete production and maintenance logs or reports Requirements : High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or certification is a plus Proven experience as an operator, technician, or similar role in a production or manufacturing environment Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and SOPs Familiarity with safety standards (e.g., OSHA) and quality control procedures Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, or overtime as required a job alert for this search Production Operator Sunrise, FL, United States
