Were looking for an experienced Journeymen Electrician for various projects at and around Kennedy Space Center , FL. This is a long-term placement with a electrical company that has been steady and extremely busy. Solid crew, reliable work, and room to grow if youre dependable and skilled.
JOB SITE DUTIES:
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in commercial buildings (retail, offices, schools, hospitals, etc.)
Run and bend conduit (EMT, rigid, PVC) using hand and hydraulic benders
Pull and terminate wire for lighting, receptacles, panels, and equipment
Set and wire electrical panels, disconnects, switchgear, and transformers
Read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and construction documents
Install and maintain fire alarm, data, and low-voltage systems (as required)
Work with site superintendents and other trades to ensure project timelines are met
Ensure all work meets National Electrical Code (NEC) and local code requirements
Use electrical testing tools to diagnose and repair electrical issues
Adhere to all job site safety policies and OSHA regulations
REQUIREMENTS:
Prior journeymen level electrical experience in commercial settings
Reliable transportation
Basic hand tools for electrical work
All PPE: hard hat, vest, pants, and work boots
Ability to obtain badges for Kennedy Space Center, CCSFS, and Brevard County School Board
Schedule: Full-time, starting ASAP
Pay: Based on experience paid weekly. Also based on the project that is ongoing due to prevailing wage.
