We are looking to hire a digital-centric Project Manager with agency experience who thrives in moving the work forward. The Project Manager is responsible for being the internal driving force, operationalizing projects and teams to ensure they stay on track to meet the schedule and scope with executional excellence. In this role, you will tenaciously own internal progress, moving teams forward with determination.

You will be the catalyst of collaboration , facilitating team coordination and information sharing. You will relentlessly pursue program optimizations, efficiencies, and ways of working to help the team flow better togetherall in the name of more impactful work and enduring client relationships. You will be a true team builder, helping to manage agency resources to ensure timelines and budgets are thoughtfully met.

This role is hybrid to our Chicago office and reports to the EVP, Head of Client Growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple internal projects (particularly concurrent website design & e-commerce projects) in a fast-paced environment .
  • Lead internal agency project execution, including building project plans and timelines, developing estimates, driving workstream progress, constantly seeking solutions.
  • Review all agency deliverables to ensure reliability, accuracy and quality standards are met and exceeded at every stage (against both internal and client feedback).
  • Foster a collaborative team environment, ensuring the right people are involved at the right time for the success of the work and ultimately becoming a go-to, trusted partner for the integrated internal team.
  • Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues with a focus on seeking solutions to mitigate, in partnership with the integrated team.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to project stakeholders and senior management .
  • Actively coordinate with other PMs and Account Management team to manage and problem-solve overlapping projects and resources.
  • Identify resources for projects and actively manage their time against approved project scope and budget.
  • Hold a strong understanding of Asana, or equivalent project management software, to be able to efficiently operationalize the integrated team; along with an understanding of effectively balance communications between digital and in-person to effectively advance the work forward.
  • Perform capacity planning based on team burndown or velocity.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of digital project management experience; agency experience required.
  • Management of websites, e-commerce and digital projects, through project management experience.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., Asana, Jira).
  • Expert problem-solver who anticipates needs and breaks down barriers.
  • Excellent communication , listening, critical thinking , and organizational skills.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment & able to manage multiple projects/priorities at once
  • Proven success developing and maintaining relationships, delivering results and anticipating project roadblocks.
  • Experience in working with business partners, technology teams and customers in defining requirements and managing deliveries.
  • Exceptional listening and communication skills with a strong ability to communicate business problems, alternatives and project strategy to a project team and customer groups.
  • Experience with strategy, creative and production life cycles at a digital agency.
  • Experience with consumer brands, retail industry, and e-commerce is preferred.
  • Experience with managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelors degree in marketing, business, communications or equivalent;
    Master's degree or PMP
