Electrical Engineer

Job Description

The engineer will perform project and on-site engineering services, including programming, start-up, training, modifications, and troubleshooting on revenue-generating projects. The role requires managing multiple projects, including leading teams that may consist of team members, contractors, and customer personnel.

Responsibilities

• Perform project and on-site engineering services such as programming, start-up, training, modifications, and troubleshooting.
• Manage multiple projects, including quotation, specification, project plan generation, execution, and management.
• Allocate and manage resources, specify and procure materials, document projects, schedule, and ensure on-time performance and profitability.
• Provide independent factory and field troubleshooting and training for control panels in at least one target market.
• Achieve familiarity and working knowledge to provide back-up capability in support of all control panel products.
• Provide secondary technical support to customers, field engineers, and sales channels on configuration, operation, maintenance, programming, and troubleshooting of specific Eurotherm products.
• Offer instrument and system-level software and communications support to customers, and provide recommendations, diagnoses, and troubleshooting for customer applications remotely or on-site.
• Serve as a level of escalation from Technical Support personnel for technical support assistance.

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5 years of experience with industrial control support.
• Proficient in using AutoCAD.
• Trained in mechanical engineering and basics of electronics and control theory.
• Working knowledge of UL508A and NEC electrical standards as they pertain to control panel design and integration.
• Knowledge of hazardous area requirements.

• Familiarity with control panel products.
• Experience in industries such as Heat Treat, Life Science, Food & Beverage, Plastics, and Water.

This position offers a hybrid work environment with three days on-site and two days remote. The role involves working closely with global clientele and designing control panels that integrate a range of products across various industries.

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $115000.00/hr.
