**Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled Welder and Fabricator to perform layout, fitting, and MIG welding of vacuum equipment returning from the field. This role requires the ability to measure, cut, and bend steel to fit specifications, and then weld parts to ensure the equipment meets DOT standards.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform layout, fitting, and MIG welding of carbon steel parts.

+ Measure, cut, and bend steel to fit required specifications without the use of blueprints.

+ Assemble and weld components to bring equipment back to DOT specifications.

**Essential Skills**

+ Proficiency in fabrication and MIG welding.

+ Experience with carbon steel.

+ Ability to perform layout and fitting of parts without blueprints.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Leadership qualities within the welding department.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Long Beach, California.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
