**Job Description**
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Container Platform Engineer with deep experience in **RedHat OpenShift and a strong background in cloud-native technologies.** You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable container platforms that support modern application development and deployment practices. This role requires a blend of platform engineering, DevOps, and cloud expertise to ensure high availability, security, and performance across our containerized environments.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Design, deploy, and manage container platforms using **RedHat OpenShift across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.**
+ Implement and manage service meshes using Istio for secure and reliable service-to-service communication.
+ Integrate and manage cloud-native security tools such as **Wiz.io, Kyverno, and Cilium.**
+ Support and **manage Kubernetes clusters on AKS, EKS, and Rancher.**
+ Develop and maintain Kubernetes Operators to automate operational tasks.
+ **Implement GitOps workflows using Argo CD and manage progressive delivery strategies with Argo Rollouts.**
+ Monitor and optimize platform performance using Prometheus, **Datadog** , and ElasticSearch.
+ **Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitLab.**
+ Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure platform reliability and compliance.
+ **Troubleshoot** complex **issues across the container stack** and provide root cause analysis.
+ Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve platform capabilities.
**Basic Qualifications**
- Bachelors degree, or equivalent work experience
- Six to eight years of relevant experience
**Preferred Skills/Experience**
+ **Containerization & Orchestration** : Proficiency in working with container technologies such as **Docker** , and orchestration platforms including **OpenShift** , **Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)** , and **Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)** .
+ **Linux Systems** : Solid experience with **Linux-based environments** , including system administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
+ **Scripting & Automation** : Strong scripting skills using **Python** and **Shell (Bash)** to automate operational tasks, build CI/CD pipelines, and manage infrastructure as code.
+ **Cloud-Native Architecture** : Familiarity with cloud-native principles and microservices architecture, with the ability to design and support scalable, resilient systems.
+ **DevOps Mindset** : Experience working in DevOps or SRE environments, with a focus on continuous integration, continuous delivery, and infrastructure automation. Using tools like ArgoCD, Argo Rollouts, and Gitlab
+ **Monitoring & Logging** : Exposure to observability tools and practices for monitoring, logging, and alerting in distributed systems using Prometheus, Grafana, and DataDog.
