Assembler Job Description As an electromechanical assembler you will be responsible for completing general assembly of new electrical cabinets and fabrication tasks. You will read blueprints and schematics to understand the technical requirements of assembly, work with PLCs and programmed logic functions related to industrial equipment, and follow industrial electrical wiring standards. You will use hand tools and power tools to mount, assemble, and provide simple fabrication and modification of electrical enclosures and components. Additionally, you will document configuration changes for future assemblies and perform general tasks such as assembly, cleanup, disassembly, shipment packing, and facility maintenance. A moderate understanding of machine functionality, assembly, and repair is essential, along with efficient task completion and effective communication in a team environment. Responsibilities Complete the general assembly of electrical cabinets and fabrication tasks. Read blueprints and schematics to understand technical assembly requirements. Work with PLCs and programmed logic functions related to industrial equipment. Follow industrial electrical wiring standards. Use hand tools and power tools for mounting, assembly, and fabrication. Demonstrate understanding of machine functionality, assembly, and repair. Accomplish tasks efficiently and communicate effectively in a team environment. Essential Skills Ability to read blueprints and schematics. Experience using hand tools and power tools. Understanding of electrical and mechanical devices. Working knowledge of PLCs and code. Positive attitude and dependability. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with fixed project deadlines. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in electrical assembly. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
