Job Description

The Project Superintendent plays a strategic role in the daily supervision of construction projects, ensuring safety, layout, coordination, planning, and scheduling. This role requires close collaboration with Project Managers, Executives, subcontractors, vendors, and client representatives. The position involves travel throughout the Northeast and requires the ability to work with offsite team members. Our fast-paced projects demand an energetic and proactive individual.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee construction projects from start to finish.
  • Coordinate and supervise construction workers and subcontractors.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Utilize construction management software, such as ProCore, to track project progress and communicate with team members.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
  • Provide onsite supervision to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
Essential Skills
  • Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent with a minimum of 15 years.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
  • Proficiency in construction management software, such as ProCore.
  • Familiarity with budgeting and cost control procedures.
  • Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols, including OSHA 30 certification.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with scheduling software, such as Microsoft Project, is a plus.
  • Bachelors degree in construction management or a related field.
  • Possession of a MA CSL and/or NYSST certification.
  • Drivers License.
  • Additional training is welcomed but not required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $135000.00/yr.
