Pay: $22.25/HOUR

Adecco is hiring on behalf of a client for a full-time Weld Technician in Fairfield, NJ. This is a long-term, year-round opportunity with weekly pay, paid training, and benefits starting as early as Day 1.

Position Summary:
As a Weld Technician, you'll be responsible for welding frames, legs, and otherponents using TIG and MIG welding techniques. You'll work collaboratively with a team to ensure high-quality output in a safe and productive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate TIG and MIG welding machines
Weld aluminum and steel products accurately
Perform grinding and drilling operations as needed
Inspect parts and perform necessary corrections
Use jigs and fixtures properly
Maintain clean and safe workstations (5S, safety protocols)
Participate in safety initiatives and hazard reporting
Work with team on daily tasks and special projects
Job Requirements:
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Ability to read/interpret blues, BOMs, and instructions
Mechanical aptitude with ability to follow directions and multitask
Strong team player with reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
Basicputer navigation skills
Must be able to make decisions with limited information
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous welding experience highly preferred
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand up to 10 hours/day
Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs (occasionally up to 100 lbs)
Frequent walking, bending, kneeling, reaching
Must wear steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, welding mask, and PPE (gloves, sleeves, aprons, etc.)
Work environment is a warehouse setting with no air conditioning
Pay Details: $22.25 per hour
