Adecco, on behalf of a client, is hiring for a Full-Time Weld Technician in Fairfield, NJ. This is a full-time, year-round opportunity with weekly pay, paid training, and benefits starting Day 1 for eligible programs.

Position Summary:

The Weld Technician is responsible for welding frames, legs, and various metalponents using MIG and TIG welding. This role plays a vital part in production and maintaining product quality, safety, and team collaboration.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Set up and operate TIG and MIG welding machines

Weld aluminum and steel parts accurately and efficiently

Perform drilling and grinding tasks as required

Use proper jigs and fixtures

Inspect and correct welded parts not meeting specifications

Maintain clean,anized workstations according to 5S and safety standards

Participate in safety programs and report workplace hazards or incidents

Collaborate with team members on daily production and special projects

Job Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Ability to read/interpret assembly drawings, BOMs, and procedures

Experience using welding tools and equipment

Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing priorities

Mechanical aptitude and ability to multitask

Reliable attendance and punctuality

Ability to identify process improvements andmunicate effectively

Basicputer navigation for production boards

English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking

Education & Experience:

Required: High school diploma or GED

Preferred: Previous welding experience

Physical & Work Environment Requirements:

Stand for up to 10 hours/day

Frequent walking, bending, kneeling, lifting (up to 50 lbs regularly; up to 100 lbs occasionally)

Warehouse environment (no air-conditioning)

Required PPE includes: steel-toed shoes, welding mask, gloves, sleeves, jackets/aprons, and safety glasses

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
