Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer (HVAC) opportunity with a growing client located in either their Madison, WI, or Troy, MI office location. They are looking for someone with demonstrated experience in Industrial HVAC and Mechanical Systems design, procurement, construction, and commissioning to work on a variety of industrial projects.This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative, award-winning "Top Workplace" culture

responsibilities:

• Work with engineers of varied disciplines to fulfill facilities mechanical engineering responsibilities
  
  
• Handle the design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of Industrial HVAC and Mechanical Systems
  
  
• Effectively prioritize multiple tasks and work to meet client deadlines, including balancing multiple priorities and responding to changes as they occur
  
  
• Travel to customer facilities for design meetings, equipment installation supervision, and commissioning as needed

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent Engineering Degree
  
  
• Multiple years of experience in Industrial or similar HVAC and Mechanical Systems design
  
  
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with chilled, tower, process and hot water systems, steam, gas, refrigeration, compressed air, fuel, and comfort and process air side systems
  
  
• REVIT and-or BIM experience is a plus
  
  
• Highly effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proven record of excellent client service
