AutoCAD Drafter

Leading engineering firm is looking to add an AutoCAD Drafter or Designer to the team in Fort Worth, TX due to growth. This role will support technical teams of detailers, designers, and engineers in creating top-tier details for diverse projects. The role involves aiding in the development of computer-aided drafting and design solutions. Experience in AutoCAD or MicroStation is a must, while PLS CADD and transmission and distribution experience would be a plus.

responsibilities:
- Assist with preparing drawings and revising existing engineering drawings of basic components from specific sketches or layouts.

- Assist with preparing and revising permit & plot drawings.

- Responsible for adhering to company and client drafting standards and procedures.

- Responsible for adhering to the drafting practices of selected discipline.

- Assist in drafting design and documentation for various projects.

- Assist with tasks utilizing standard drafting detail programs.

- Assist in continuous drafting detail improvement efforts.

- Research solutions to project concerns and recommend solutions to design problems.

- High School Diploma/GED and course work in drafting technology Required or specialized CAD certification Required.

- Having AutoCAD and/or Micro-Station experience is a must. PLS CADD would be a plus along with transmission experience
