Job Title: Estimator - Commercial & Industrial Construction

Our client a well-established, full-service industrial contractor located in the Gulf Coast region. The company specializes in mechanical, electrical, civil, and facility construction projects, supporting clients from planning and construction through maintenance.

Position Overview

The company is seeking an Estimator to support a growing pipeline of commercial and industrial projects. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-impact construction efforts across various disciplines while working with a respected contractor known for quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and technical documents to develop cost estimates
• Perform accurate quantity take-offs and calculate labor, material, and equipment costs
• Collaborate with internal teams, project managers, and subcontractors to prepare bids
• Review and assess subcontractor and vendor quotes for accuracy
• Support preconstruction efforts, including budgets, timelines, and value engineering
• Assist with estimating across multiple scopes, including mechanical, civil, and electrical work

Qualifications

• Prior experience estimating commercial and/or industrial construction projects
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and technical documentation
• Familiarity with estimating software (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam, Excel)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously
