ESTIMATORMonday-Thursday, half-day Friday 6:30 am - 4:30 pm; 6:30 am - 12:00pmDOE ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSReview construction documents and understand scope of work in the steel industry to produce material take-off and data entry.Maintain knowledge of competitive advantages in the industry to aid bidding process.Resolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.Obtain accurate quotes for materials and systems to establish accurate cost estimates. JOB REQUIREMENTSExperience in Structural Steel estimating.Excellent verbal and written communication.Proficient in Computer skills, such as Word, Excel, AutoCad, and Strumis.Able to read and understand blueprints and contract plans.Minimum of 2 years' experience in the steel industry.
