Heavy Equipment Operator

We are a family-owned Excavation Company looking to hire experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team. This position is for individuals who are self-motivated, hard-working, and committed to safety. The ideal candidate must be punctual, reliable and willing to learn and develop their skills

Our job sites are centrally located in Clark County, WA with little to no travel for work.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Ensure all equipment being operated for the day is warmed up and running by shift start

Assist with daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment

Safely operate a variety of equipment including excavators, dozers, backhoes, and loaders

Ensure all proper attachments, hoses, belts, etc. are being utilized and maintained

Observe hand signals, markings, and/or grade stakes while operating equipment

Meet production requirements

Perform job duties as assigned by supervisors

Requirements:

Must have valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Knowledge of dig laws and locates as well as the assigned color codes

Ability to read and understand plans and specifications

Clear understanding of grades, elevations, and compaction requirements

1-2 years prior experience as an equipment operator

Must be able to perform manual labor in all types of weather and environments, including heavy lifting (in excess of 50lbs) on a daily basis

Excellent interpersonal communication skills

Must be a team player

We operate Monday-Friday with some Saturdays. The ideal candidate should be available to work 40+ hours per week.
