Job summary: Assemble wood cabinets from engineering drawings, utilizing a variety of different tools, and equipment.

What a day in the life of a Cabinet Maker at REV looks like:

  • Fabricating and installing cabinet components and hardware.
  • Mark outlines or dimensions of parts, according to blueprints or drawing specifications
  • Cutting 45-degree miters on aluminum and anodized trim
  • Adhering laminate to the substrate with contact adhesive
  • Final assembly of parts and hardware

Required education, skills, and experience to be successful:

  • Experience in cabinet making, assembly, and installation.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layouts with written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurements.
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools such as but not limited to drills, screw guns, power saws, table saw, band saw, miter saw.
  • Ability to work from ladders and scaffolding
  • Must have the ability to read, write, and perform mathematical computations at a level required for successful job performance
  • Ability to communicate professionally and follow directions
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Successful completion of the drug and background screening
  • Preferred high school diploma or GED

  • Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and climbing up and down ladders and scaffolding
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs without assistance
  • Ability to work with arms above head
  • Ability to operate and understand the operation of all protective safety equipment in the area.
  • Ability to work in non-temperature-controlled environments
  • Overtime may be required based on business needs. This position may require mandatory overtime up to three (3) out of four (4) Fridays per month.
