Residential Electrician

Scope of Work: Responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining the electrical systems and components in homes and other residential buildings. This may include tasks such as installing outlets, switches, and light fixtures; repairing damaged wiring; and replacing outdated or faulty electrical components

Responsibilities:
Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and schematics to determine the location and function of electrical components.
Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical panels, circuit breakers, and other electrical distribution equipment.
Testing electrical systems and components using specialized tools and equipment.
Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical problems, and determining the appropriate course of action to repair or replace faulty components.
Installing and maintaining outdoor lighting and security systems.
Adhering to local building codes and electrical regulations.
Providing customer service, including answering questions and addressing concerns related to electrical work.
Keeping accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Knowledgeable of building codes and regulations
Strong understanding of electrical systems and GOOD problem-solving and communication skills
