Sr Mechanical Design Engineer

Our client, a leader in the aerospace industry, is seeking a Sr Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team.
As a Sr Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Enterprise department supporting aerospace engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sr Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Phoenix, AZ (On site)
Pay Range: $58.17/hour

Whats the Job?

• Design and develop products and systems as part of a collaborative engineering team
• Collaborate across aerospace engineering teams to create innovative solutions
• Participate in all phases of product development
• Perform CAD-based modeling, engineering analysis, and weight optimization
• Apply ASME Y14.5 standards in all drawings

Whats Needed?

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• 6+ years of mechanical design and engineering experience with NX and Teamcenter
• Experience in engine or APU design
• Proven application of ASME Y14.5 drawing standards, including GD&T
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card holder)
