Mechanical Design Engineer

Our client, a global leader in aerospace engineering and manufacturing, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Enterprise Department supporting Aerospace project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Phoenix, AZ (On site)

Pay Range: $44.70/hour

Whats the Job?

• Imagine, design, and develop products and systems as part of an integrated engineering team.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to create customer-focused solutions.
• Participate in all phases of product development.
• Design using CAD-based modeling and perform engineering analysis.
• Apply Design for Manufacturing principles and prepare cost estimates.

Whats Needed?

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 3+ years of mechanical design and engineering experience with NX and Teamcenter.
• Experience in engine or APU design.
• Proven application of ASME Y14.5 drawing standards, including GD&T.
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency
