Job Title: Electrical Junior Mechanics & Apprentices

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Junior Mechanics & Apprentices to work on new construction electrical projects. The role requires expertise in executing electrical layouts, rough in and finish electrical installation work as well as and conduit bending tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform conduit bending and installation using EMT, Galvanized, and Ridged materials.

• Wire pulling and roughing of MC and BX cables.

• Install lighting packages, risers, and lighting systems.

• Install electrical panels

• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues effectively.

Essential Skills

• Knowledge of electrical wiring, rough in and finish work

• Familiarity with NEC code and standards.

• 1-6 years of experience in electrical construction

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• SST 10 certification.

• OSHA 30 certification.

• Ability to install outlets and wire electrical devices.

Work Environment

Work is based in Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn, with hours from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, including a half-hour lunch break. The position requires a safety-oriented mindset, with PPE required at all times. Mobile clock-in codes are used for time tracking.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
