Residential Elevators is actively seeking someone to train to be a dedicated and detail-oriented Paint Prep Operator.

Key Responsibilities will be training in :

• Surface Preparation: Clean and prepare elevator components prior to painting, ensuring all surfaces are free from dust, oils, and contaminants.
• Sanding: Prepare surfaces of elevator components by sanding to achieve a smooth, even finish, ensuring all imperfections are removed.
• Caulking: Apply caulking and sealants to joints, seams, and gaps, ensuring a clean, professional finish that meets industry standards.
• Painting: Apply paint to residential elevator components, ensuring even coverage and high-quality finish. This includes selecting appropriate paints and finishes based on materials.
• Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of precision and quality throughout all prep and finishing processes, ensuring that all work meets customer and company standards.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished products for defects, making necessary adjustments to ensure a flawless appearance and functionality.
• Maintenance: Keep work area clean and organized; maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and supervisors to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met

Requirements

The ideal candidate will become through this apprenticeship a highly skilled in surface preparation and finishing techniques, ensuring a flawless final product that meets both aesthetic and functional standards.

This position will become responsible for preparing and finishing residential elevator components.

Experience in sanding, caulking, and painting with a strong focus on quality and precision is helpful. Occasional overtime may be required depending on project deadlines.
