OVERVIEW - PLUMBING ESTIMATOR

Job Title: Plumbing Estimator

Reports to: President

Department: Estimating

Direct Reports: None

Location: Lynbrook, NY

FLSA Category: Non-Exempt

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES - PLUMBING ESTIMATOR

The Plumbing Estimator reviews project plans and specifications to determine scope of work and prepares detailed cost estimates by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements. In this role, you will collaborate with project managers and field staff to understand and execute project requirements. The Plumbing Estimator will monitor and track project costs to ensure estimates are in alignment with contracts.

REQUIREMENTS - PLUMBING ESTIMATOR

• Bachelors' Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Prior experience as an Estimator in the plumbing industry preferred
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and costs
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy

SALARY AND BENEFITS - PLUMBING ESTIMATOR

Salary Range: $89k-$117k
