- Lead and manage all onsite construction activities for electrical generation projects.
- Coordinate mechanical and turbine installation processes, ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, subcontractors, and vendors to align project goals and timelines.
- Develop and manage detailed construction schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Oversee site safety programs and enforce company and regulatory safety standards.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and compliance.
- Resolve technical and operational issues on-site with proactive solutions.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to sr management and stakeholders.
- Manage procurement processes for mechanical and turbine-related materials and equipment.
- Lead commissioning and start-up activities related to mechanical and turbine systems.
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of construction management experience in electrical generation projects, with a strong focus on mechanical systems and turbine installations.
- Proven experience managing complex power generation projects such as combined cycle, simple cycle, gas turbine, or geothermal facilities.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, turbine operations, and installation techniques.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in construction scheduling software.
- Solid understanding of construction safety standards and regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams in fast-paced environments.
- Professional Engineering (PE) License or Construction Management Certification.
- Previous work experience in Gas & Turbine energy generation projects.
- OSHA 30 Certification.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scottsdale, Arizona.
