Job Description

Join a renowned architecture firm in NYC known for its commitment to high-quality design and technical execution across a diverse range of projects, including corporate interiors, multifamily, media/entertainment, and high-end residential. We are seeking an Intermediate Architect who will play a key role in supporting design, production, and expanding project leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop design concepts and create client presentation materials.
  • Produce and coordinate Building Information Modeling (BIM) models and construction documents.
  • Lead various project segments through the design and documentation phases.
  • Coordinate efforts with consultants, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Participate in client meetings and contribute to decision-making processes.
  • Support and gradually assume project management responsibilities.

Essential Skills

  • Professional degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
  • 5+ years of experience in architecture/design.
  • Strong design sensibility and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction documentation and detailing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Interest in growing into a leadership or project management role.

Work Environment

  • Work in a friendly office environment located in a popular NYC neighborhood, offering high visibility with principals and clients.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New York, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $62.00/hr.
