What’s a typical day as a Painter?

You will:

	
• Prepare surfaces for painting (e.g., cleaning, sanding, and patching)
  
  	
• Mix and match paint colors to achieve the desired finish
  
  	
• Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
  
  	
• Inspect job sites before painting to determine necessary preparations and safety measures
  
  	
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
  
  	
• Perform touch-ups and refinishing as needed
  
  	
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures while working
