Adecco Staffing is hiring for a Maintenance Mechanic Manager in the Ayer area! This is a DIRECT-HIRE opportunity.

Hours: 6:00AM-3:30PM, Monday-Friday and can also include evening work and weekends on a needed basis.

Pay: $95,000-$110,000 annually

Proven experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance leadership

POSITION SUMMARY

This role will lead teams responsible for various projects such as process improvement, documentation, reduction of unplanned downtime from machinery failures, and increased efficiency levels. In addition, this role will also manage capital equipment asset management for repair, rebuild, or replacement of equipment.

The manager will also be responsible for coordinating and scheduling all preventative maintenance activities for all plant equipment, managing the environmentalpliance and interfacing with regulatory agencies, and leading continuous improvements through financially justifying cost improvement processing.

Responsibilities:

Lead and evaluate maintenance staff, ensuring efficient operation of production lines and addressing mechanical breakdowns urgently.

Oversee scheduling,pletion, and documentation of PMs in PMC, including annual services by contractors and timely creation of missing PMs.

Use the Vorne system to track downtime trends, manage spare parts inventory and costs, and implement corrective actions based on analysis.

Supervise daily performance, conduct evaluations, manage disciplinary actions, and identify training/development opportunities for team members.

Coordinate closely with other shifts, plant supervisors, and management for smooth operations, planning, and shift transitions.

Conduct interviews, hire maintenance staff, manage payroll approvals as backup, andplete staff performance reviews.

Oversee all production line equipment, support areas (e.g., filler room, spare parts room), and supervise changeovers, startups, shutdowns, and contractor activities.

Requirements:

Must demonstrate urgency and readiness to intervene during mechanical failures, keeping production lines running and supporting team performance.

Requires strong leadership, supervisory, andmunication skills to manage, mentor, and motivate a maintenance team in a fast-paced environment.

High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, along with at least five years of hands-on experience with industrial machinery and maintenance systems.

Solid understanding of engineering principles, safety protocols, building trades, maintenance planning, and energy-saving practices.

Proficient with maintenance and building management systems, data-driven decision-making, and managing both large capital and smaller renovation projects.

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, mechanical and technical abilities, and the capability to follow instructions andplete tasks accurately and safely.

Physically able to work long shifts, weekends, and in various environments; must befortable with physical labor such as standing, climbing, and working in hot or cold conditions.

Pay Details: $95,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
