Maintenance Mechanic Job Description Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various production equipment and machinery. Troubleshoot a variety of mechanical systems including compressed air, vacuum pump systems, valves, and exhaust fans. Conduct equipment inspections and document all findings. Utilize the CMMS system for managing work orders. Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and machinery. Troubleshoot mechanical systems such as compressed air, vacuum pump systems, valves, and exhaust fans. Conduct thorough equipment inspections and document findings accurately. Utilize CMMS systems to manage and track work orders. Essential Skills 4-6 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in pharma/biotech. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Experience with mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing equipment, particularly valves, pumps, and exhaust fans. Proficiency in preventive maintenance procedures. Familiarity with CMMS systems, pneumatics, and GMP. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds. Capable of standing, walking, bending, squatting, and working in various positions for extended periods.
