Welder

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Welder to join their team. As a Welder, you will be part of the production department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Welder 1st Shift

Location: Freeburg, IL

Pay Range: $22/hr

What's the Job?

• Create quality welds according to blueprints.
• Inspect welds for accuracy and quality.
• Prepare products for welding by grinding, drilling, milling, tapping, and cutting steel/aluminum parts.
• Change wire and welding materials as needed.
• Follow all safety rules regarding machine operation and proper guarding.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Good hand and eye coordination with sufficient manual dexterity.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 20 lbs frequently and 40-60 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to read and follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports.
• Must be able to pass the respiratory test per OSHA requirements.
