POSITION SUMMARY
The Rope Access Level I Technician is responsible for performing various crafts while accessing area via ropes. A Rope Access Level I Technician may only work under the direct, on-site supervision of a Rope Access Lead Technician or Supervisor (Level II or Level III).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Have an unwavering commitment to Safety
- Conduct behavioral based safety observations
- Participate in daily JSEA planning discussion
- Be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of a SPRAT or IRATA Level I RA Technician
- Have a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques
- Ensure operational safety of all equipment
- Assist other technicians as required
- Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by supervision or management
- Actively participate in client programs, planning and strategy sessions
- Actively participate in client safety initiatives, incident investigations, etc.
- Demonstrates strong adherence to Company policies and procedures, as well as Company values
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager and/or supervisor
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent education
- Must possess an active SPRAT or IRATA Level I Certification
- Must demonstrate proficiency in theoretical knowledge, equipment and rigging, maneuvers, climbing and rescue/hauling
- Valid TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Card)
- Basic written and verbal skills
- Ability to perform work accurately
- Must be reliable and have good time management skills
- Physically and mentally fit
- Ability to work productively in adverse conditions
- Preferred technician with a combined knowledge & experience reading blueprints, adjusting, assembling, fabricating, & bolting components together
- For new hires, must meet all Performance Energy Services employment qualifications in force at time of hiring, including successful completion of a background investigation and pre-employment drug screen
- For new hires, must successfully complete all required training by Performance Energy Services
