Groundskeeping & Maintenance Laborer

Westmoreland Mechanical Testing & Research is currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Groundskeeping & Maintenance Laborers. This position offers both part-time and full-time opportunities for those who enjoy working outdoors and take pride in maintaining clean, safe, and attractive grounds. Must be at least the age of 16. Training is provided!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate a variety of hand tools and power equipment, including lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, grass trimmers, and edging tools

• Perform general grounds maintenance and minor repair tasks

• Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained properly

• Other duties as needed (light carpentry, electrical, plumbing)

Qualifications and Skills:

• US Citizenship required
• Attending high school or equivalent required
• Drivers license required
• Mechanical experience preferred
• Ability to adapt to changing work environments
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong time-management skills
• The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Ability to stand, sit, or move around for prolonged periods of time
