Operates equipment and machinery. Performs maintenance/labor on grounds, equipment, property, and facilities.
Starting pay $22.9444/hr.

Primary essential duties include but are not limited to:
- Operates aerial bucket truck, dump trucks, payloaders, backhoe, and other equipment;
- Hauls dirt and sand;
- Renovates turf and re-seeds;
- Performs pesticide applications;
- Maintains grounds by mowing, trimming grass, edging, etc.;
- Maintains athletic courts and fields;
- Maintains Parks restrooms and other properties and facilities;
- Performs snow removal;
- Sets up for festivals;
- Inspects and performs routine and preventative maintenance on property, facilities, and equipment to ensure they are in proper condition for the public and employees;
- Performs and/or assists in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, welding, etc. involving grounds, equipment, properties, and facilities.
Required at time of application :
- High school diploma or GED, and
- Minimum 1 year experience in equipment operation (e.g., laborers, etc. as long as there is 1-year equipment operation experience).
- Valid driver's license
Equivalent amount of education and/or experience is acceptable.
- Valid CDL, Class B or higher (required within 11 months after hire);
- KY pesticide license (required within 11 months after hire)
