Metal fabricator/ Toyota Mechanic/ Welder

We are looking for a part-time (20-32 hours) motivated fabricator/shop mechanic. Positive attitude and a team player a MUST. We are a specialized Toyota trucks & 4runner shop, so knowledge and interest in Toyotas is required.

This position is responsible for performing a variety of shop tasks to help with shop operations, not limited to Welding parts in fixtures, building exhaust systems, cutting/grinding metal, pulling engines, blasting parts in vapor blast cabinet, diagnosis. We are a small shop that operates as a team. You must be able to accept constructive criticism, have good communication skills, respectful, ethical, honest and a positive attitude. Take pride in your work & work environment.

Position to start 20-32 hours/week. Can be flexible.
Shop hours Monday through Thursday 8am to 4pm
Pay Rate: Based on experience.

Job Requirements:
Welding and fabrication skills, preferably automotive related.
Basic mechanical skills/ Knowledge of Toyota trucks & 4runners is a MUST.
Toyota based diagnostic skills a plus
Basic 12 volt DC wiring skills a plus
Ability to follow verbal & written directions.
Desire to learn & develop technical abilities
Have own basic hand tools
Valid driver's license & pass a background check.
Be reliable.
Physical Requirements:
Able to lift to 50 or more pounds.
Have full body mobility and be able to twist, turn, bend at the waist and squat.
Able to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
