Production Welder (Commercial Roofing)

Acme Cone is looking for a full-time employee to fill a position on our Production Line. At Acme Cone we specialize in the manufacture and distribution of commercial roofing products. All products originate from rolled PVC or TPO membranes, constructed and heat welded into spec driven products. All seams are manufactured with a commercial strength heat gun.

**Welding is the term used for fusing our items together, WE DO NOT WELD METALS/ Mig, Tig, Brazing none of it....only Commercial Roofing Membranes**

Shift Hours- Monday- Friday 6:00 am- 2:30 pm

JOB DUTIES-
Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance
Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation
Displays good communication skills
Respectfully takes direction from Supervisor
Maintain a clean workstation
Ability to construct, attach and weld products with material to metal or using a metal template/box to construct a finished item.
All metal items produced must meet quality welding standards with minimal production repairs or remakes.

Job Requirements-
-Safety practices
-Production of water tight welds/seams on all items.
-Ability to construct, attach and weld products with material to metal or using a metal template/box to
construct a finished item.
-Hand usage on a daily basis.
-An understanding of product usage and functionality.
-Use of measurement tools (measuring tape, ruler, and angle finder).
-Basic mathematics (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
-On the job training

Physical Demands-
This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching, all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
A constant use of hand eye coordination
Great attention to details (measurements specs, revised order procedures and maintaining quality of production goods).
Exposure to workplace noise hazards sound and vibrations

Work Hours- 6:00 am- 2:30 pm (Mon.-Fri.)
Starting Pay- $15 hr./ 90-Day Probation period. (Benefits/401K)
