Job Duties/Scope Of Work

Job duties for this position include:

Provide multi discipline design/drafting support as directed by the Central Engineering Support Manager.

Support preparation of Facility Modification Packages (FMPs) working closely with engineers.

Update engineering drawings, incorporating changes from FMPs and various project documentation.

Assist designers in maintaining configuration control of engineering drawings designated as "essential" and "support" level drawings.

Support other requests such as preparing tables, charts, figures, and sketches for documents.

Other job duties as assigned by the Central Engineering Support Manager.

Basic Qualifications

AA/AAS degree from an accredited institution or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum of 1 year of experience using AutoCAD drafting software, with recent experience using current versions of the software (2022 version or newer).

Desired Qualifications

Experience performing drafting and design work, preferably in an engineering work environment.

Experience as a drafter/designer in electrical, telecommunications, and/or mechanical engineering disciplines.

Autodesk Certified User or Certified Professional credentials.

Prior experience with Hanford Site and/or other drawing standards and configuration management processes.

Well-developed communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to take direction and execute tasks successfully.

Compensation & Benefits

Grade 92: $59,713 - $75,238

Grade 93: $67,400 - $85,000

Grade 94: $79,575 - $100,325
