The HVAC Service / Preventive Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Commercial HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Candidate will service clients in the DFW markets
  • Preventive Maintenance: Maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration units.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and resolve issues with HVAC systems efficiently.
  • Customer Service: Maintain strong relationships with clients by addressing their concerns and providing excellent service.
  • Compliance: Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service activities.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of commercial experience in HVAC preventive maintenance and light service.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in HVAC systems preferred.
  • Certifications: Relevant HVAC certifications, TDLR (e.g., EPA certification) are highly desirable.
  • Skills: Basic troubleshooting, and leadership skills. Proficiency in reading schematics and using HVAC software.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks.

Technical Skills:

  • System Preventive Maintenance and Repair: Proficiency in installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems.
  • Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and fix issues efficiently.
  • Electrical Knowledge: Understanding of electrical systems and components.
  • Schematic Reading: Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams
  • Knowledge of Codes and Regulations: Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations
  • HVAC Software: Competence in using HVAC-specific software and tools

Soft Skills:

  • Effective Communication: Clear communication with clients and team members
  • Customer Service: Providing excellent service to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to address and resolve issues.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring precision in all tasks to avoid errors.

Additional Requirements:
