The HVAC Service / Preventive Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Commercial HVAC systems .

Key Responsibilities:

• Candidate will service clients in the DFW markets
• Preventive Maintenance : Maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration units.
• Troubleshooting and Repair : Diagnose and resolve issues with HVAC systems efficiently.
• Customer Service : Maintain strong relationships with clients by addressing their concerns and providing excellent service.
• Compliance : Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations.
• Documentation : Maintain accurate records of service activities.

Qualifications:

• Experience : Minimum of 2-5 years of commercial experience in HVAC preventive maintenance and light service.
• Education : High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in HVAC systems preferred.
• Certifications : Relevant HVAC certifications, TDLR (e.g., EPA certification) are highly desirable.
• Skills : Basic troubleshooting, and leadership skills. Proficiency in reading schematics and using HVAC software.
• Physical Requirements : Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks.

Technical Skills:

1. System Preventive Maintenance and Repair : Proficiency in installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems.
2. Troubleshooting : Ability to diagnose and fix issues efficiently.
3. Electrical Knowledge : Understanding of electrical systems and components.
4. Schematic Reading : Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams
5. Knowledge of Codes and Regulations : Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations
6. HVAC Software : Competence in using HVAC-specific software and tools

Soft Skills:

1. Effective Communication : Clear communication with clients and team members
2. Customer Service : Providing excellent service to ensure customer satisfaction
3. Problem-Solving : Strong analytical skills to address and resolve issues.
4. Attention to Detail : Ensuring precision in all tasks to avoid errors.
