The HVAC Service / Preventive Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Commercial HVAC systems .
Key Responsibilities:
- Candidate will service clients in the DFW markets
- Preventive Maintenance : Maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration units.
- Troubleshooting and Repair : Diagnose and resolve issues with HVAC systems efficiently.
- Customer Service : Maintain strong relationships with clients by addressing their concerns and providing excellent service.
- Compliance : Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate records of service activities.
Qualifications:
- Experience : Minimum of 2-5 years of commercial experience in HVAC preventive maintenance and light service.
- Education : High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in HVAC systems preferred.
- Certifications : Relevant HVAC certifications, TDLR (e.g., EPA certification) are highly desirable.
- Skills : Basic troubleshooting, and leadership skills. Proficiency in reading schematics and using HVAC software.
- Physical Requirements : Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Technical Skills:
- System Preventive Maintenance and Repair : Proficiency in installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems.
- Troubleshooting : Ability to diagnose and fix issues efficiently.
- Electrical Knowledge : Understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Schematic Reading : Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams
- Knowledge of Codes and Regulations : Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations
- HVAC Software : Competence in using HVAC-specific software and tools
Soft Skills:
- Effective Communication : Clear communication with clients and team members
- Customer Service : Providing excellent service to ensure customer satisfaction
- Problem-Solving : Strong analytical skills to address and resolve issues.
