Volt is immediately hiring for Shop Foreman (2nd Shift) - Heavy Equipment Maintenance in Sumner, WA .
This is a Full-Time/Direct Hire opportunity.
Schedule: 2nd Shift - 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM, with 1-2 Saturdays a month during summer.
Compensation: $41.50 - $50.25/hr. plus a $5,000 hiring bonus and a $1,000 tool reimbursement are also included.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of diesel mechanic experience with heavy industrial equipment
- Prior supervisory experience is required
- Proven job stability
- Experience with computerized diagnostic equipment is needed
- A valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record is required
- A CDL is ideal, and a training program to obtain one is available
As a Shop Foreman , you will:
- Maintain and repair heavy equipment such as trucks, pavers, backhoes, and excavators
- Supervise 2-3 mechanics and a parts clerk on the second shift
- Work as a foreman, with a split of 75% equipment maintenance and 25% documentation.
- Perform both shop and field repairs
