AtWork Personnel is seeking an Experienced Automotive Air Conditioning Technician to join our clients team in Madison, AL. The preferred candidate will be responsible for installing after-market automotive air conditioners.

Duties
- Conduct regular maintenance on automotive air conditioning systems to ensure efficient operation
- Install new automotive air conditioning systems according to specifications
- Troubleshoot, Repair or replace defective components in existing automotive air conditioning systems

-You will pull vacuums, charge, and wire test on the automotive after market units

-MUST be familiar with R-12, R-134A, R-22

-Pay starting from $18/hr but could be more will depend on what experience you bring to the table.

Qualifications for our Experienced Automotive Air Conditioning Technician
- Proficiency in reading schematics and understanding technical manuals
- Knowledge of air conditioning systems, refrigeration principles
- Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration is a plus
- Ability to use tools such as ohmmeters for diagnostics
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills

-Must have the following tools: standard wrenches, screwdriver flat/phillips head, standard socket set, needle nose pliers, channel locks, side cutters, tape measures (will be given a tape measure test)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00/ hr depending on experience

Expected hours: 40 45 per week

Experience:

preferred experience automotive air conditioning: at least 2 years (Required)
