Job Title: Project Engineer
Job Description
This full-time opportunity is for a Project Engineer at a custom machine manufacturer. The successful candidate will provide overall project engineering leadership on specific projects and be responsible for developing and presenting engineering solutions to meet the needs of clients in the industrial manufacturing, energy, food, chemical, and process industries. Effective communication with clients, engineers, manufacturing personnel, and management is crucial, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment is essential.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Plan and oversee projects to ensure technical and budgetary success.
- Develop and oversee project strategy, planning, and goal attainment.
- Create proposals, product flow diagrams, and piping and instrument diagrams.
- Participate in project design, pricing, negotiations, and scheduling.
- Ensure project timeline requirements are met.
- Travel periodically, both domestically and internationally, for system startups.
Essential Skills
- 5 years of project management experience with industrial projects from start to finish.
- 5 years of experience in custom machine design.
- 5 years of ERP experience.
- 2 years of structural analysis experience.
- 5 years of experience working with customers on orders from cradle to grave.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in engineering, ERP, analysis, project engineering, project management, and design.
Work Environment
The position is based in a manufacturing environment where products are made on-site. The role requires collaboration with multiple departments and involves creating proposals and maintaining communication from start to finish. The team includes five individuals, with three focusing on designing filters and two project engineers integrating these filters into systems. The company offers profit sharing and bonuses as part of its benefits package.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
