Construction Manager Jobs

Plan and supervise projects. Construction managers develop budgets and estimates as well as ensure that all necessary tools and materials are available. They are responsible for selecting the right skilled tradespeople and specialists for each project and coordinate with contractors, managers, and other personnel throughout construction.

Construction managers rely heavily on their strong communication skills in order to explain a wide range of needs and tasks to workers and delegate duties as needed. They may also collaborate with legal professionals or government representatives if building a structure owned by the city or state.
