Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.

Mix primers and paints per the manufacturer's recommendations.

Load and unload, plug and mask parts.

Read and interpret job travelers, prints, and other instructions to prime and/or paint parts to meet Type Design requirements.

Clean and maintain spray guns, work benches, and other equipment associated with the paint booth.

Communicate Expedite parts to downstream customers.

Lean Manufacturing, 6-sigma, 5S and/or equivalent methodologies to continually make improvements in safety, quality, throughput, and cost.

Profile and other information related to the position

Position Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of related experience in either aerospace or automotive painting.

Experience in aerospace (or related field) painting and technique preferred.

Proficient in MS Windows 7, MS Office Suite, and Internet Explorer.

Able to read and interpret blueprints.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to demonstrate good analytical skills, alphanumeric accuracy, and reading comprehension.
