Travel Heavy Equipment Operator Job Description The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating utility tractors on a civil construction site. The work schedule is from 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays required based on workload and weather conditions. Days may extend up to 14 hours. Pay: 25 -35/ hr (Based off experience/ Equipment Expertise) Per diem included! Responsibilities Conduct pre-inspection and end-of-day inspection of the utility tractor and report any concerns to management. Work in various site areas including cuts, fills, and haul roads. Collaborate with other equipment operators Essential Skills 3+ years of experience in operating heavy equipment in commercial and civil construction. Proficiency in grading, earthwork, and earthmoving. Experience with utility tractors, including Fendt wheeled tractors, and pulling Sheeps Foot Rollers, Discs, and Box Blades. Experience with Excavators, Dozers Experience with Motor Grader Additional Skills & Qualifications Valid Driver's License preferred. Will Also have projects in Louisiana, Texas, and in the Midwest. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
