Custom Fabrication Estimator

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary Provide accurate pricing, routings andmaterials from customer supplied blueprints. Work with variousdepartments involved with the manufacturing process of the quotedproduct. This is a fast-paced job and requires a balance of strongtechnical skills as well as great communication and ability tomultitask. Summary of essential Job functions Prepares work to beestimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, andrelated documents Identifies labor, material, and outsourcingrequirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, andrelated documents Figure set-ups and run times based off of customerspecs Quickly generate accurate estimates of time and costs to buildcomponent parts and assemblies Quotes that are won will be prepared forthe manufacturing departments Verify job routings, materials andapplicable Requisition Forms at time of Purchase Order Summary ofsecondary Job functions Create estimates/quotes for custom metalfabrications Perform other duties as assigned by managementQualifications required JobBOSS software experience is a plus Computerskills with Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook Blueprint readingFabrication and welding knowledge Must be able to work as a team orindividually without constant supervision Ability to stay self-motivatedand work well in a team atmosphere Must be able to do basic math (add,subtract, multiply, divide) Must have strong attention to detail Strongcommunication and organizational skills.
