Job Description: Immediate need for an Electrical Engineer with a minimum of five+ years of experience preparing designs of Electrical, Fire Alarm, Low Voltage, medium voltage, and underground utilities, building systems, etc., from inception to complete construction documents. Responsibilities: Design Electrical, Fire Alarm, and Low Voltage systems as well as medium voltage, and underground utilities, Low Voltage includes Communications, Audio/Visual and Security systems. Design from inception to complete construction documents Complete all phases of design from schematics through construction administration. Meet with clients to develop scope of project. Develop project specifications. Knowledge of NYC filing requirements and procedures Review of submittals, shop drawings, and change orders. Qualifications: 5+ years of similar Engineering experience with private MEP firms Proven experience designing Electrical systems in AutoCad and Revit Experience with communication systems design Knowledge of Building and Energy codes, NEC, NFPA requirements Strong computer, AutoCAD, and Revit MEP skills MUST have excellent communication and writing skills. MUST be willing to work in-person. (In-person 5 days/week) MUST be eligible to work in the US. Education: BS in Electrical Engineering
